| Breed Overview Information : | Nobody knows where the Rottweiler Breed came from. They say that it is a descendant of the Italian Mastiff. The skill of this dog is focused on herding. They are herd dogs during the middle Ages. The Rottweiler almost became extinct during the 1800’s but breeder in Stuttgart made it possible to breed their type in the 20th century. They are excellent in different tasks today such as being watch dogs, herding, police work, obedience trails and guarding as well. |
