| Breed Overview Information : | The Podengo Portugueso comes in variety of sizes. These are the Grande or large, Medio or medium and Pequeno or small. This breed came from Portugal and it is an ancient sight and scent hound. This is the National Breed in Portugal but is not so many in United States. They are originally created and bred for the purpose of hunting rabbits and they are not made to be companions. |
