| Breed Overview Information : | The Plott Hound Breed was developed by a family in the Appalachian Mountain chain. This is an American dog breed and is named after the family who created it. Just like the Pharaoh hound, they are also skilled hunters of different animals such as wolf, bear wild cat, raccoon and coyote. They are not recommended to be house pets only. |
