The Glen of Imaal Terrier puppy names after the Glen of Imaal who is located in the country of Ireland, particularly in County Wicklow.  It is among those few dog breeds with origins that are somewhat unknown.  The Glen of Imaal Terrier was first introduced in the year 1933 in a dog show.  It is among those small dogs that were bred to hunt foxes as well as badgers.

The Glen of Imaal Terrier is among those small dogs that rarely bark.  It has the following characteristics: brave, intelligent, loyal and affectionate.  Glen of Imaal terriers tend to be stubborn.  They are lively and are very playful but are said to be calm inside the house.
