Breed Overview Information : 

The French Bulldog puppy is sturdy as well as heavily boned.  French Bulldog breeds are small dogs up to medium sized dogs that are distinguished by being cobby and short. French Bulldog Dog Breed information’s contain the description that French Bulldogs seem to be active and alert and have curious natures.  They are believed to have originated from the cross breeding of a Nottingham bulldog and France’s native dog breed called the Terrier Boule.

French Bulldog Dog Breed information’s state how important it is for the owner to know that breathing problems and the flat muzzle of a “Frenchie” makes it overheat easily especially during extreme weather conditions and temperatures.  A French Bulldog should not be exercised during hot weather to avoid a heat stroke and it is also not recommended to live in the outdoors.  Instead, walk this dog or play with it outdoors in glorious weather and indoors in hot or extreme weather.

Breed Care Information : 

French Bulldogs do not really need that much grooming as it is not a frequent shredder.  Using a rubber brush in brushing is enough to remove any dead hair.  The only regular thing you should do would be to clean its mouth as it drools from time to time due to its flat muzzle.  Bathing should only be performed when necessary. Also, do not be too alarmed when a dog sneeze happens as it is more likely with it's flat face.

Breed Training Information : 

The French Bulldog can be described as a stubborn and somehow willful creature which would mean that during training sessions there should be consistency.  It is a breed that does not respond well to training methods that are rough and hard and so being patient all through out the training period is a must.
